Consignment FAQ's:

How does the process work?

Getting Started
Send us photos or bring your bike in — we'll let you know if it's a good fit for consignment and agree on a sale price together.

The Process

  1. Initial Assessment — We do a thorough lookover of the bike for a flat $40 fee and send you an itemized list of what it needs to be sale-ready. We keep recommendations focused on the essentials to minimize your costs while making sure we can stand behind every bike we sell.
  2. Your Decision — If you approve the work, we schedule your service order (timing varies by season). If you'd rather not proceed, simply pay the $40 assessment fee and arrange pickup.
  3. Listing Your Bike — Once the work is complete and the invoice is settled, we get your bike listed for sale.
  4. When It Sells — You choose how you'd like your payout: 75% of the sale price as store credit, or 65% as cash.
  5. If It Doesn't Sell — If your bike hasn't sold within a year, we'll ask you to come pick it up.
What kinds of bikes do you consign?

We consign bikes that are representative of the quality of bikes that we sell. Please email us photos of the bike to start the process, and see if it would be a good fit.

Do I have to pay to consign my bike?

We charge a $40 estimate fee to look the bike over and give you an estimate of work needed to sell the bike. This is only charged after we have agreed on a sale price or range.

How long will you consign the bike for?

if your bike has not sold in 6 months, we will reach out to lower the price. If it doesn't sell in the next 6 months after that, we may ask you to take the bike back.

When do I have to pay for the work done to get my bike ready?

After we do the work to get your bike sale-ready, we will reach out for payment before listing your bike for sale. Once the work is paid for, the bike goes live!
