Detour is built the way a car's low beam is. You get a wide, even spread of light from your front tire out to where you're looking, with a sharp cutoff at the top so drivers, other riders and people on foot aren't blinded.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe come from automotive lighting, so the beam came first, and we fine tuned the heck out of it. We also added sidemarker lights, much like on cars, so you're visible from the side too.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNo battery pack and no wires.
